Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms cover Rhythm, the planning app at rhythm-dailysky.app. Using the app means you accept them. We have tried to write them plainly; where something matters, we have said it outright rather than burying it.
What Rhythm is
Rhythm is a planning tool. It helps you organise work, keep track of your own patterns, and consider timing using classical astrological method with its sources cited.
Rhythm does not make your decisions, and nothing in it is professional advice. The timing readings are computed from real astronomy and presented alongside the historical texts they come from. They are offered as a tradition worth thinking with — not as prediction, and not as a basis for decisions with real consequences.
Rhythm is not medical advice. The cycle tracker records what you enter and does simple arithmetic on those dates. Its estimates are not a diagnosis, not contraception, and not a fertility service. Talk to a clinician about your health.
Rhythm is not financial, legal, or tax advice. The business layer reflects one coach's framework, not an assurance of any outcome. Your results are yours.
Your account
You can use Rhythm without an account. If you make one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Rhythm, and old enough to enter a contract where you live to buy a subscription.
Your content
What you write in Rhythm is yours. We claim no ownership of your tasks, plans, journal entries, or check-ins. We store and display them so the app can work, and for nothing else. You can export or delete them at any time.
The app itself — its writing, design, framework content, and the rule set behind the timing engine — belongs to the business that runs Rhythm. Use it for your own planning; don't resell it or pass it off as your own.
Subscriptions and payment
- Paid tiers are billed in advance through Stripe. Stripe handles your card details; we never see them.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then, and you are not billed again.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee and we will not make you ask a person for permission to leave — you can do it yourself from your account.
- If a price changes, existing subscribers are told before it applies to them.
- If something goes genuinely wrong — a double charge, a tier that never unlocked — write to us and we will sort it out.
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You are charged at the start of each period — monthly plans monthly, annual plans annually — at the price shown when you subscribed. We email you a receipt every time.
Cancel yourself, any time, from your account. You do not have to email anyone or explain why. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Annual plans get a reminder email before renewing. If a price ever changes, existing subscribers are told before it applies to them and can cancel first.
Refunds
If something genuinely went wrong — a double charge, a tier that never unlocked, a renewal you had already cancelled — write to us and we will refund it. No argument.
Beyond that we do not routinely refund time you have already had access to, because cancelling is immediate and self-service and you keep what you paid for until it runs out. If you are in a place with a statutory cooling-off period, that right stands and this paragraph does not remove it.
What you post
Community spaces come later, and when they do: what you write stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside Rhythm to the people it was meant for, and nothing more — we will not put it in marketing, sell it, or show it outside the space you posted it in without asking you first. Delete a post and we stop displaying it.
Don't post things that aren't yours to post. If you believe someone has posted your work, write to us with enough detail to find it and we will act.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like, from the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the fair use rules above, is being used to harm someone, or is not paying for what it is using — and other than in the clearest cases we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of your period and give you time to export your data.
Coaching
The coaching tier includes direct written conversation with Stephanie inside the app. It works like this, and these limits are the point rather than the fine print:
- Monday to Friday, Central Time. Replies come as fast as they honestly can. There is no guaranteed response time; a human is answering, and she rests.
- Coaching is about moving forward. It is not therapy. If what you need is to work through the past — old wounds, trauma, grief — Stephanie will say so and point you toward a therapist. That is care, not a brush-off, and you can keep coaching alongside it.
- If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis line in your country. Rhythm is not a crisis service and is not monitored around the clock.
- Seats are capped at fifty people, ever. If you cancel, your seat may be taken by someone else, and returning depends on one being free.
- Coaching conversations stay between you and Stephanie. She can see your levels, rocks, and check-ins only if you switch on sharing in your account settings.
- Either of us can end the arrangement. If we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of your period.
Fair use
Don't attack the service, try to reach other people's data, scrape it wholesale, resell access, or use it to harass anyone. In shared spaces, treat other members as you would want to be treated — this is a small community and it works on trust. We may suspend accounts that break this, and we will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep Rhythm running but cannot promise it will never be down. Your data lives on your own device as well as in your account, so the app keeps working offline. Please keep your own backups too — the app has an export button for exactly this reason.
Liability
Rhythm is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make while using the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Some places give you rights that cannot be signed away, and this paragraph does not take those from you.
Changes and endings
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Rhythm after that means you accept them. You can close your account whenever you like. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and time to export everything.
The boilerplate, briefly
- If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
- These terms, plus the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about Rhythm.
- Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
- We may transfer this agreement if the business is sold or reorganised; your rights come with it. You cannot transfer your account to someone else without asking us.
- You may not use Rhythm where doing so would break sanctions or export law.
- We may change or discontinue features. If we remove something you are paying for, you get notice and a refund of the unused part.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, United States, and disputes go to the courts there — unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring one closer to home.
